I-Unite student recruitment platform launched

Study abroad solution Infinite Group has announced an AI-driven global student recruitment platform, which is seeking to assist students to “live their dreams to study abroad”.

I-Unite will also seek to support partners around the globe to scale up their businesses in the international market, the company has said.

“The global demand for international education is rising, considering the scalability of the overseas education industry, we believe that partners across the globe should unite over one platform to encourage new benchmarks of excellence,” Gaurav Batra, founder of Infinite Group, said.

The company currently lists some 21 UK universities – including the University of West London, Birmingham City University, London Metropolitan University – nine Australian institutions, and University Of Northern British Columbia in Canada and University of Memphis in the US as partner universities.

I-Unite noted that the platform “helps students and recruitment partners to look for courses abroad using artificial intelligence”, with courses suggested based on student profiles.

University, fees, intake information is provided “without any human intervention involved”, a spokesperson explained.

Asked which players are I-Unite’s competitors, the spokesperson said the company doesn’t “look at anyone as a competitor”.

However, the company is joining a busy playing field with a wide range of course search platforms and portals, including ApplyWave, ApplyCourses and coursefinder.ai.

Others such as BridgeU, Mapmystudy, Sofiri and iApply also utilise AI to match students with prospective schools.

Infinite Group – founded in 2006 – has set aside a budget of $2.5m to make the I-Unite platform a “global success”, a total which is “subject to change with further growth and future prospects”, the spokesperson added.

The platform offers tie-ups with renowned industry leaders, webinars and events with universities, and “refined resources”, with a focus on markets in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

It is also developing its global presence in Africa, Mauritius, Turkey, UAE and Gulf countries, the company added.

“We understand that education is the prime factor in shaping the career of students, hence we initiate a wider effect, producing an array of opportunities abroad for the students resulting in global exposure,” Batra concluded.
