Published 19/02/2021

A new five-day virtual conference from The PIE will gather over 60 speakers with wide-ranging viewpoints in the global education industry to share insights about the use of Tech in learning; recruitment; transnational education policy and practice.

Panel insights will provide an in-depth dive into opportunities for engagement in Nigeria, Malaysia, Vietnam and India.

The second iteration of The PIE Live virtual conference will also feature the same 24/7 access to video networking that was offered in 2020, making the event a global leader when it comes to delegate-to-delegate networking enhanced by AI matchmaking.

“We were delighted by the feedback from delegates and feel our next event really offers content which is relevant for all, given the sector is positioning to emerge from a pandemic with key priorities to build productive partnerships and better utilise technology,” said Clare Gossage, COO of The PIE.

“We have a range of panel debates, insightful Q&As, two great keynote speakers and some new networking sessions.”

Opening the conference in Hamish Coates, a tenured professor at Tsinghua University’s Institute of Education, and Director of the Higher Education Division. He is also a Principal Advisor at Wells Advisory and dedicated to improving higher education quality and productivity through research, leadership and innovation.

The UK’s international education champion, Sir Steve Smith, fresh from launching the country’s updated international education strategy, will address the audience at close.

All content is being streamed twice in two time zones to enable delegates in any timezone to watch, engage and network with others.

“We’re pleased to have international education experts Grok as our headline sponsor, helping us put on an event we hope will result in new partnerships and possibilities,” said Gossage.

The PIE Live is also being dovetailed with the APAIE Conference so that delegates can attend both conferences in an epic week of learning and networking. To find out more, click here.
