Computer-based testing provider Pearson VUE has extended its partnership with the Graduate Management Admission Council to continue delivering its tests globally.

The Graduate Management Admission Test for business schools and management programs will continue to assess candidates in Integrated Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning via Pearson VUE, after 15 years of collaborating.

Pearson VUE will also continue delivering Executive Assessment globally.

Extending the 15-year long-standing relationship with Pearson VUE is “a testament to our shared values and unwavering commitment to providing far-reaching access to management education candidates to take their exam”, said GMAC president and CEO Sangeet Chowfla.

“We are excited to have expanded the global reach of the GMAT while also maintaining the very highest standards in test security, reliability, and integrity.”

Computer-based exams have become essential tools to assess entry into academic programs in an increasingly digital world, the partners highlighted.

“We are honoured to be continuing our partnership with such a world-leading organisation as the GMAC,” Bob Whelan, president and CEO, Pearson VUE, said.

“We have endeavoured to provide best-in-class test delivery services, implemented new technologies and leveraged the latest measurement techniques”

“Over the last decade and a half, we have endeavoured to provide best-in-class test delivery services, implemented new technologies and leveraged the latest measurement techniques, to ensure that the GMAT remains the global leader in graduate management admissions assessments.”

Innovative technologies introduced since 2006 include palm vein biometric scanning, in addition to online proctoring via OnVUE during the pandemic. However, some business schools announced they would waive GMAT/GRE requirements for 2020 due to the pandemic’s impact on testing facilities.

Almost 800 Pearson VUE test centres in 100+ countries deliver the GMAT and EA tests.
