UK: Birmingham & Kaplan extend partnership

Kaplan International Pathways and the University of Birmingham have agreed to expand their partnership to help the university achieve its international strategic goals.

Kaplan will use its global recruitment network to bring qualified students to the university’s foundation programs which prepare international students for a range of undergraduate degree programs.

The company currently offers undergraduate pathway programs at its campus in central London (Kaplan International College London) for international students aiming to enrol at the University of Birmingham.

It also recruits international students for direct entry to Birmingham’s undergraduate degree programs.

Recruitment for the university’s on-campus programs delivered by its in-house Birmingham International Academy have already begun for the September 2021 intake and beyond.

Students will participate in degree preparation courses covering specialist subjects, study skills and English language.

Mason added that the Birmingham International Academy has delivered International Foundation Pathways to students from all over the globe since 2012.

“We are delighted to extend our successful partnership with Kaplan to provide the university with student recruitment services for its highly successful in-house international foundation pathway programs.

“We hope our partnership will see our International Foundation student numbers continue to grow and diversify.”
