Dublin’s Alpha College of English has been acquired by UK-based Twin Group, in a deal which allows the company to expand its operations in Ireland’s capital.

Alpha College of English, located in the heart of Dublin’s City Centre has been established for 30 years, welcoming students from over 53 countries with an average age of 28.

“This acquisition has given us the ideal opportunity to accelerate our strategy for Ireland”

Its memberships of Marketing English in Ireland, Eaquals and IALC all provide testament to its quality as an English language school – and its wide portfolio of courses caters for both general English and a large number of professionally-oriented English language programs.

“This acquisition has given us the ideal opportunity to accelerate our strategy for Ireland, providing a strong reputation, excellent facilities and a great
location whilst increasing the depth and breadth of our Irish offering, so we’re delighted to welcome Alpha to the Twin ‘family’,” commented Caroline Fox, CEO of Twin Group,

Stephen Shortt managing director of Alpha added: “We are proud of the business we have built and the quality education we’ve provided for 30 years, so it’s good to know that our school and amazing team will continue as part of the Twin Group.”
