Allianz launches digital agent portal
Allianz Worldwide Partners is launching online platform, Partnered Allianz Global Education, which aims to assist education agents to find services for their students moving overseas.
“Our vision is to maximise the quality of the international student experience when transitioning to life abroad – whether it’s finding accommodation, arranging overseas student health insurance or opening a bank account, we’ve done the searching so that students don’t have to,” said Craig Dalzell, CEO of AWP.
“We designed PAGE to reduce administrative work for Allianz partners”
Education agents will be able to manage their entire student database and connect students with approved Allianz Assistance service providers including banking, telecommunications, safety, accommodation, airport transfers and health cover services.
AWP strategic partnerships with service providers who share the PAGE vision of enhancing the international student experience, the company said.
The PAGE portal will initially focus on international students who have chosen to study in Australia, citing figures predicting student enrolments in Australia passing 1,000,000 by 2020.
AWP intends to then expand the platform globally.
“We anticipate that PAGE will reduce the stress and burden on students in sourcing services prior to commencement of classes, ensuring they are settled and ready to start studying as soon as they arrive at their destination,” Dalzell added.
“We designed PAGE to reduce administrative and setup work for Allianz partnered agents, so they can focus on providing their students with the best possible start to their study experience abroad,” Dalzell continued.
“We also hope to empower students to make informed decisions and give parents the confidence that their child has the support they need while away from home.”
AWP has established education agent networks in Australia, China, India and Thailand and is looking to invites its networks to participate over the next two months in a staged roll-out.
From there AWP will then seek additional interest from within these countries through a range of outreach initiatives, explained Dirk Mulder, lead – International Student Initiative at AWP.
“As part of the broader endeavours of Allianz Worldwide Partners we are currently investigating other countries to be able to establish a student focused presence and grow the global network,” Mulder told The PIE News.
“PAGE will be central to this expansion,” he concluded.
