ISEG Employablity Materials

Promoting the Benefits, and Ease, of Employing International Students

New suite of material provides guidance to employers and students

BUILA and the International Student Employability Group (ISEG) are delighted to announce the launch of our new suite of materials to support employers in understanding the benefits of employing international students via the Graduate Route visa and/or the Skilled Worker Route visa.

The new tools include an employer's guide to employing international graduates in a print version, digital version and interactive version, a Study UK guide for international students on working in the UK after they graduate, and a series of videos containing interviews with employers and international students who talk about their experience of working with the new visa system and the benefits it brings. This suite of tools will provide education providers, careers advisers and students with tools to demonstrate to employers how easy it is to employ international students.

These materials have been developed by the International Student Employability Group (ISEG), which is convened by the UK Council for International Student Affairs (UKCISA) and is made up of key sector organisations such as British Universities International Liaison Association (BUILA), Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services (AGCAS) and Universities UK International (UUKi).

We encourage careers service and international student professionals to use these materials to engage with their regional and national employer networks to help them to recognise the opportunities available to them and the benefits of recruiting highly talented international graduates.
