BUILA Training: Working with Stakeholders
Tuesday 2 June, 1000-1615 hrs

ABOUT THE EVENT
Strong relationships are at the heart of successful international recruitment and partnerships, but navigating different stakeholder groups can be complex.
This interactive, in-person workshop is designed for international office professionals with under two years’ experience who want to build confidence, sharpen their communication strategies, and better understand the perspectives of key partners. It is designed as part of our 101 suite, but more experienced staff who are new to managing stakeholder relationships will also find it beneficial.
In the morning, the workshop focuses on working effectively with education agents. An agent panel will provide honest insights into what makes partnerships thrive (and what can damage them), alongside practical tips you can apply immediately.
In the afternoon, we will broaden the lens to explore other critical stakeholder groups including sponsors, school counsellors, study abroad partners, and pathway providers.
Through interactive activities and peer discussion, you will develop practical approaches to:
- Managing expectations
- Strengthening collaboration
- Navigating challenges across diverse contexts
By the end of the day, you will leave with actionable tools, fresh perspectives, and greater confidence in building meaningful, productive stakeholder relationships.
Attendance is £190 per person and includes lunch and refreshments throughout the day. There are no restrictions on the number of attendees per institution.
Booking closes at 5pm on Monday 18 May
