My CEO story… Gaurav Batra, Infinite Group

Describe your company in three words or phrases:

Purpose-driven. Partner-led. Globally trusted.

What inspired you to start the company? Was there a particular moment that sparked the idea?

What inspired me to start the company was the clear disconnect I observed between students, recruitment partners, and education providers. Each stakeholder had strong intent, but they often operated in silos, limiting the true potential of global education. I wanted to build an organisation that could genuinely bridge this gap by creating alignment, trust, and long-term value across the ecosystem.

This thinking also led to the creation of IUnite.AI: a platform designed to bring everything under one platform, streamline collaboration, and create transformative opportunities at scale. At its core, the goal has always been to unite futures and opportunities, enabling individuals and institutions to move beyond boundaries and succeed globally.

How would you describe your company’s mission in one sentence?

We are dedicated to bridging the gap between students, recruitment partners, and education providers, creating transformative opportunities that shape futures on a global scale.

How would your team describe you as a leader?

I believe my team would describe me as hands-on, purpose-driven, and deeply invested in people. I value accountability, encourage open dialogue, and strive to lead by example especially during times of change or challenge.

What’s one misconception about your part of the sector you’d love to correct?

A common misconception is that international education is purely transactional, focused only on numbers and placements. In reality, when approached with integrity and purpose, it is deeply transformational and helps shaping lives, institutions, and global perspectives. Sustainable success in this sector is built on trust, long-term partnerships, and a genuine commitment to student outcomes, not short-term metrics.

What keeps you energised outside of work?

Spending quality time with family helps me stay grounded and maintain perspective beyond the professional world. I also prioritise staying physically active, as it brings clarity and balance to my routine. Beyond this, I find great purpose in mentoring young professionals and engaging in meaningful conversations that challenge my thinking.

I am also deeply inspired by initiatives that reflect courage, teamwork, and resilience, which is why supporting the Three Flying Fish during their historic first row across the Atlantic Ocean was particularly meaningful to me. Experiences like these reinforce the power of ambition, perseverance, and collective belief, and serve as a reminder of why building future-focused organisations truly matters.

What advice would you give another founder entering the international education space?

I would advise them to build a long-term mindset from day one. Prioritising ethics, transparency, and strong partnerships will always deliver greater value than chasing quick wins. This sector is built on trust, and founders who focus on credibility, consistency, and genuine impact will create organisations that endure and scale responsibly.

If you could accomplish one big thing in the next year, what would it be?

The goal is to further strengthen Infinite Group’s global footprint while future-proofing the organisation for sustained growth. This includes investing in stronger systems, developing leadership depth, and driving innovation across our platforms and processes. By doing so, we aim to be well-positioned for the next phase of growth while continuing to deliver long-term value to our partners and stakeholders.
