Headway Language Institute Dubai to expand global reach

The Dubai-based language school has been steadily growing in popularity with locals since its inception in 2015, but now says it is ready to expand into international markets – with an especial focus on attracting students from countries including Brazil, Turkey, Korea, Japan, Russia, China and Thailand.

While the school currently serves over 750 students a month, Headway Language Institute’s business consultancy advisor said the institution expects to see a surge of students this year.

“Headway has a strong presence in the UAE, and now we are ready to scale globally,” he said. “Based on current demand, we anticipate student numbers to double in the coming months.”

Headway offers students. choice of over 13 languages to learn, including English, Arabic, Russian, French, Italian and Spanish. Students are taught from a curriculum that is practical in approach, with specialist courses helping to prepare for major language test such as IELTS and TOEFL.

Dubai is becoming popular choice for international students. And with expats making up over 85% of the UAE city’s population, the English langauge is widely used.

The city is positioning itself as a regional hub for international education, with a number of international branch campuses and frequent overseas delegations showing Dubai’s openness to internationalisation.
