GoBritanya and Tribell complete deal on Leeds student accommodation building
GoBritanya said that adding Briggate Studios – located just minutes away from both Leeds train station and the Leeds Trinity City Campus – further strengthened its presence in the UK’s student accommodation market.
The new PBSA is also located 15 minutes’ walk from Leeds Beckett University, 20 minutes from the University of Leeds and nine minutes from the University of Law, Leeds. It has 86 premium studios, a common room, a large reception, bike storage and a cinema room.
Erhan Sengur, founder and CEO of Education Leisure Travel Limited (ETLL), which owns both GoBritanya and its sister company StuHomes, said the company was “excited to expand our business with this acquisition, which reflects a natural progression for ETLL”.
“Our London-based StuHomes operational platform also offers accommodation in Brighton and Dublin, so Briggate Studios, Leeds will launch our operations in the north of England,” he added.
GoBritanya, which was established in 2013, provides accommodation and services to over 5,000 students a year, while StuHomes was launched in 2021. Meanwhile, ETLL has offices in India, China, Türkiye and Azerbaijan, which the company said helps to ensure “strong partnerships with international education institutions”.
Adell Nair-Grepinet of Trinova Real Estate – which owns Tribell – commented: “We are delighted to have completed this acquisition with our partners at GoBritanya during an exciting period for UK universities and PBSA providers.”
