ESCP Business School expands with new schools and India partnerships
Under its 2026–2030 Bold & United strategy, ESCP, part of the Grande École network, will launch the ESCP School of Technology and the ESCP School of Governance.
The School of Technology, launching in 2027, will focus on digital transformation, AI, data analysis, and emerging tech, while the School of Governance, set for 2029, will cover geopolitics, public affairs, international law, and strategy.
“Our 2026–2030 strategic plan is not just a roadmap – it is a collective manifesto shaped by the voices of thousands across our community. This is our commitment: to nurture leaders who shape society with empathy, ethics and excellence,” stated Léon Laulusa, executive president and dean, ESCP Business School.
As per details shared with The PIE News, ESCP’s €320 million investment will support its expansion plans and aim to transform its “future-ready ecosystems”, enabling the launch of new programs such as a global master in management, and at least four new MSc degrees, including one focused on business in the space Industry.
ESCP also plans to grow its €9 million scholarship fund, nearly 5% of the school’s revenue, by leveraging its alumni, foundation, and institutional network.
According to a statement from the institution, by 2030, ESCP Business School aims to enroll over 12,000 students from over 150 nationalities, employ 300 professors from 50 countries with full gender parity, generate €300 million in revenue through sustainable operations, and retain its top five position in the Financial Times’ European Business School rankings.

Amid its expansion plans, India remains a key market for ESCP not only as its third-largest source country after France and Italy, with 608 Indian students enrolled in the 2024/25 academic year, but also as a collaboration hub.
Just months after The PIE News reported on ESCP’s move to sign partnerships with institutions in the IIT network, the school has advanced its plans to strengthen academic ties with IIT Bombay and IIT Madras.
“These collaborations will focus on student and faculty exchange, joint research, and integration of emerging technologies in areas such as sustainability, artificial intelligence, and entrepreneurship,” read a statement by the institution.
The partnerships come as ESCP looks to meet rising demand for technology and research, building on its already strong ties with India’s top management and business schools.
“ESCP’s connection with India dates back to 1985 through its first partnership with IIM Ahmedabad, now enriched by active collaborations with IIM Bangalore, Calcutta, Lucknow, Kozhikode, and SPJIMR,” the statement read.
