Boa Lingua acquired by StudyLingua Group
StudyLingua has long been a key player among language travel agencies in the German-speaking region, and also includes the language travel brand Pro Linguis and German-based DIALOG-Sprachreisen.
It comes as part of a long-term plan to ensure the continued stability of Boa Lingua, which will continue to operate under this name.
The deal comes into effect retroactively as of January 1, 2026.
“The key objective was to secure a sustainable succession solution that ensures the long- erm continuity of Boa Lingua”, said Kurt Krummenacher, founder and president of the Board of Boa Lingua. “With the StudyLingua Group we have found a partner who shares our values and our long-term vision for the company”.

Together, the organisations will look to establish future partner networks, new technologies and international market development.
“Boa Lingua is one of the most respected language travel agencies in Switzerland,” said Simon Marcon, CEO and owner of the StudyLingua Group. “We are delighted to welcome the company and its team to unlock the synergies created by bringing the two organisations together.”
It marks the latest phase in StudyLingua’s acquisition trail. In early 2024, it emerged that it had bought the French-Swiss language travel agency Aventure Linguistique. Meanwhile, Kaplan sold Pro Linguis to StudyLingua in 2016.
