The UK’s University College London has selected SI-UK as its representative to recruit international postgraduate students globally.

With over 62 global offices in 28 countries, SI-UK is UCL’s first partnership with a student recruitment agency. The agency was awarded the contract following a rigorous tender process.

“We are very honoured to have been selected to represent one of the most progressive and prestigious institutions in the world,” global directors at the agency Dwayne Gallagher and Orion Judge said.

“SI-UK is ready to support students from all over the world to benefit from the UCL experience”

“UCL is renowned for its academic research, its progressive outlook and the impact its research has globally.”

More than 40% of UCL’s students hail from outside of the UK, with 18,000+ international students enrolling every year.

It is a “leader in internationalising education”, SI-UK added. As part of the agreement, the agency will be supporting international graduate taught level enrolments to UCL.

“We believe SI-UK, as a UK specialist educational agency, with 62 offices in 28 countries, can assist UCL with reaching a diverse range of students globally,” Gallagher and Judge added.

“UCL alumni include global leaders and pioneers in business, science, law, medicine and the arts. It is one of the most desirable universities in the world to study at and SI-UK is ready to support students from all over the world to benefit from the UCL experience.”

A recent report, commissioned by British Universities’ International Liaison Association and the UK Council for International Student Affairs, estimated that around 50% of the 203,000 new international students from beyond the EU that UK institutions welcomed in 2018/19 used education agent services.

“We look forward to working with [the SI-UK] team across the globe to support our applicants in their ambitions to join UCL,” UCL said in a statement.

UCL is England’s third oldest university and the first to welcome students of any religion and women to university education.
