Agency platform Agency Management System and TurkishUniversities.org have signed a partnership deal to help agencies by standardising and streamlining applications to 65+ Turkish university partners.

As part of the agreement, AMS will integrate TurkishUniversities.org’s 50 private and 16 public university partner institutions into a comprehensive search engine where agencies can search study options by program, university, level, discipline, budget, available scholarships.

Agents will also be able to create quotes for students quickly, submit applications to Turkish universities and follow the status of applications within the platform.

Despite long being know in the content of tourism, many markets have been slow to realise Turkey’s value as a study destination, AMS BD manager Brenton Baer said.

“Flexible immigration policies and favourable exchange rates make Turkey a very feasible option for students”

“Turkey is home to several well-established top ranking universities which boast modern facilities, English taught curriculums and large campuses for only a fraction of the tuition charged elsewhere,” he noted.

“Flexible immigration policies and favourable exchange rates make Turkey a very feasible option for students – especially in markets that currently struggle with visa refusals and inflation.”

Currently, 154,000 international students study in Turkey from more than 60+ countries, and Turkish higher education is getting “more and more interest” around the world, Tarkan Ulas, co-founder of TurkishUniversities.org, added.

However the range of study options “can be overwhelming at first for counsellors”, which the AMS platform seeks to solve, Baer continued.

“The many filters within the AMS academic search engine make finding the right program a fairly easy and straightforward task,” he noted. “In addition to that agents are able to submit applications for their students with the click of a button which saves them a great deal of valuable time.”

Government support – such as the Turkish Scholarship (Turkiye Bursları) – offers full scholarships to international students to study in Turkey, Ulas added. A key goal of the country’s 2023 Vision is to host over 250,000 international students.

“Foundation universities invested massively in their facilities and give students a chance to study in a high-tech environment. Students have a chance to use the latest model equipment during their studies,” Ulas explained.

“Our team and AMS, which is one of the most advanced agent management systems, will be happy to make this process as smooth as possible.”

Under the agreement, agencies will receive commission for both placement to the language school in Turkey as well as for direct admission to their university partners, they added.
