OIEG pulls in expertise to assist growth plans

Oxford International Education Group is targeting “exponential growth” and development in the global education market by collaborating with the sector’s industry leaders and experts.

The new HE Advisory Board will bring a “wealth of expertise” to provide industry knowledge and access to for Oxford International to enter new markets and develop relationships globally.

Chaired by Oxford International co-founder David Brown, members of the board include former universities minister Chris Skidmore, Baroness of Newnham Julie Smith, former deputy vice-chancellor, International at Coventry University David Pilsbury, along with IDP Connect CEO Simon Emmett and CEO and co-founder of Enroly Jeffrey Williams.

In 2021, Oxford International is celebrating its 30th anniversary. It is currently partnered with six universities in the UK and Europe and its OI Digital Institute has more than 20 partners globally.

Earlier in 2021, the company was acquired by private equity investor THI Investments as it plans to further invest in online and language education, as well as university partnerships.
