ILSC launches English test for students

Published 11/02/2021

Language and career skills training specialists ILSC and Greystone College have launched an online English test assessing listening and reading skills to offer tailored study suggestions.

The free 25-30 minute placement test can be taken online any time, by anyone, and provides instant results and study recommendations direct to their email.

“Test takers will have a reference point to help them plan their study length and budget”

“The new indicative English test is taken by students before enrolling in our schools and it provides a short but helpful language benchmark as students begin to plan their studies,” Christopher Mediratta, president and chief operating officer of ILSC Education Group, said.

“It’s consistent with the methodology used in ILSC’s existing comprehensive Pre-Arrival Online Language Assessment.”

“By completing this quick assessment, test takers will have a reference point to help them plan their study length and budget,” ILSC’s vice president, sales and marketing Chris Nolan continued.

“And for our agent partners, this supportive tool can be used to engage clients and help them envision how their international study journey might look.”

With locations in Canada, Australia and India, ILSC Education Group teaches English, French and Hindi, as well as vocational education at its Greystone Colleges.

Students applying to ILSC’s University Pathway Program, High School Program, or a Greystone College program will still need to complete ILSC’s Pre-Arrival Online Language Assessment in order for its academic team to assess students’ speaking, writing and grammar skills.
