Sydney-based edtech start-up Mozaik Play has launched a new online platform to connect students with creative colleges.

Founder and CEO Gabriel Providel said that there are currently large numbers of these students and colleges, but nobody has been connecting them to date.

“The intuitive platform is efficient and easy to use, and saves students’ time.”

The platform offers online, on campus and blended programs, with more than 2,000 creative courses available for students to choose from.

“The new Mozaik Play website allows students to easily find, compare and directly apply to creative degrees and courses from renowned creative colleges, all in the one place,” said Providel.

“Students can also make appointments with student counsellors in their region, who can advise and match students to the most suitable course. The intuitive platform is efficient and easy to use, and saves students’ time.”

Providel added that the platform and its services are free for students.

Mozaik Play has agreements with over 200 creative colleges globally to place students in the “most suitable courses for their desired study platform”.

The courses include a number of creative disciplines such as digital media, film/tv, photography, visual comms, fashion interior/graphic design, fine arts and performing arts.

It is hoped that the new platform will help address skills shortage and supply failing to keep pace with what it calls “the growing demand of occupations within the creative space”.

“Mozaik Play fast tracks the growth and connectivity needed within the industry, and is empowering and providing opportunities for the creatives of tomorrow,” the company said in a statement.

Mozaik Play was first launched in 2019, and its founders have worked to provide greater access to educational opportunities for budding creatives.

The head office is located in Surry Hills, Sydney, Australia with Mozaik Play saying it is rapidly expanding its presence to other locations such as the US, Latin America and India.
