HEC Paris tops French int’l MBA ranking

Published 22/03/2018

Management specialist HEC Paris has brushed off competition to rank above other French business schools in Le Point’s recent international master’s degree ranking.

The French magazine ranks the quality of master’s and four-year bachelor’s courses offered by business and management schools in France.

“KEDGE is constantly improving to offer a unique student experience focused on… a strong international outlook”

HEC Paris came on top overall for its master’s program, followed by ESSEC, EM Lyon in third and ESCP Europe in fourth and EDHEC in fifth.

KEDGE’s International BBA course was ranked second behind ESSEC Global BBA for the four year-bachelor’s courses, while the school’s master’s level offerings improved on last year’s performance, coming in seventh, an improvement of three places.

José Milano, director general of KEDGE, said the results are proof that KEDGE’s focus on innovation and student experience has paid off.

“These excellent results in Le Point’s 2018 rankings, combined with those of L’Etudiant’s research ranking published last month, prove that KEDGE is constantly improving to offer a unique student experience focused on teaching innovation, alongside research expertise, a strong international outlook and new learning methods based on both personal and professional development.”

The French business school, with campuses in France, China and Senegal, has become the first of its kind to have two programs recognised in the master’s ranking. Its International EBP entered the league table at 16th.

The ranking rates schools on areas including teaching, research, international approach and salaries.

For their master’s degrees, EM Lyon and ESCP Europe finished top for international approach and they were joined in the top position for salary band with EDHEC, ESSEC and HEC Paris.
