Shorelight Education will open a pathway program with the University of Dayton in Ohio next fall, it has announced.

Shorelight’s International Accelerator Program will prepare international students for study at the university, through both intensive English and academic courses.

“This is a thoughtful approach to attracting and educating international students”

It will offer programs for both undergraduate and graduate students.

The new partnership will help to foster “a welcoming, inclusive campus community”, according to University of Dayton president Eric Spina.

“This is a thoughtful approach to attracting and educating international students and ensuring their ultimate success,” he said.

“At the University of Dayton, we have a strong commitment to research, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Introducing diverse ideas and perspectives from top international students is critical to that work.”

The program will welcome its first cohort of students in September 2018.

“We’re thrilled to enter into this partnership with the University of Dayton—its top-quality academic offerings, innovative approach to student-centered education and dedication to leadership and service make them an ideal partner for Shorelight,” commented Shorelight CEO Tom Dretler.

“We share the University of Dayton’s commitment to welcoming students of all backgrounds and from across the world, and we look forward to what we can accomplish together in the days ahead.”

Located in ______, the University of Dayton is Ohio’s largest private university. The Roman Catholic university currently enrols students from some 40 countries.
