The University of Exeter will offer online master’s degrees from September, as part of a partnership with education marketing and online learning service, Keypath Education.

The MSc programs will be offered in the subjects of International Business, Finance & Management and Marketing, with each programme lasting two years. They will be available to both UK and international students.

The University of Exeter’s Business School will deliver the courses, which will be designed by Keypath. The company will also work with the university to market and recruit the students for the courses.

This partnership is part of Keypath’s move towards online degree delivery, particularly in UK higher education.

“The expansion of online learning is accelerating social mobility internationally”

“We are designing exceptional and immersive online programs that bring the university’s exceptional student experience to learners wherever they are,” said Rajay Naik, CEO of Keypath Education (Europe).

“We are seeing enormous and growing demand from students across the world looking to access the world’s best institutions without having to move home, leave their job or sacrifice their career.”

Naik added that there is an increasing demand from students who wish to access some of the best institutions around the world.

“The expansion of online learning is accelerating social mobility internationally, increasing our nation’s exports and keeping our world-leading higher education sector at the vanguard of the world.”

Jo Johnson, Higher Education Minister, has supported the partnership, and commented: “It is essential that courses are flexible and catered to fit around differing work and life demands.”

The programs from the University of Exeter will be available from September this year, with more expected in 2018.

The programs are planned to cost £18,000 – the same price for both domestic and international students.

Keypath Education also provides online postgraduate degrees for Coventry University in the UK, and 16 universities around the world.

The announcement of another partnership with a UK university is set to follow in the coming weeks.
